GeoGebra AutoDraw AI ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that helps users draw plane-geometry figures on the GeoGebra Calculator. This policy explains what data the extension handles.
We do not collect any personal data. The extension does not have a server, does not use analytics, and does not transmit your data to us or any third party.
For convenience, the extension saves the following on your own device using Chrome's
chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your browser:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Last problem text | Restore your last input when you reopen the panel |
| Last command list | Restore your last commands |
| History (up to 20 items) | Let you reload previous problems/commands |
| Settings (UI language, draw mode) | Remember your preferences |
You can clear this data at any time by removing the extension or clearing its storage in Chrome.
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
tabs |
Find and track the GeoGebra Calculator tab to draw into. |
storage |
Save the items in section 2 locally. |
sidePanel |
Show the extension UI in Chrome's side panel. |
scripting |
Run your GeoGebra commands in the GeoGebra page (via its ggbApplet API) to draw the figure. |
host_permissions: https://www.geogebra.org/* |
Required for scripting and tab access on the GeoGebra domain only. No other sites are accessed. |
The extension generates a text prompt that you may choose to copy into an external AI service (such as Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude). The extension does not send anything to those services automatically — you copy and paste manually, and any data you share with them is governed by their own privacy policies.
The extension does not load or execute remote code. All code ships inside the published package.
The extension does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
